MongoDB announces collaboration with Google Cloud for an AI initiative – Vector Search to be used for AI Generative application

MongoDB announces a new AI Initiative that will use the Google Cloud service, MongoDB Atlas for building the next generation generative AI applications. New services will help developers in developing Generative AI applications in a much faster way. All these will help developers in accelerating the development of Generative AI applications.

New initiative from MongoDB brings AI application development features using the Vector Search feature. MongoDB, Inc. has launched a new initiative in partnership with Google to ease the use of Generative AI technologies for the developers for building world class applications. This initiative will help developers in building generative AI powered applications on the Google Cloud with ease.

MongoDB Atlas is a powerful multi-cloud data platform being used by thousands of customers for handling its vast amount of data. This service helps in building large scale applications for various business purposes with the single platform. MongoDB Atlas comes with an integrated data store that helps organisations of all sizes to develop generative AI applications faster. Generative AI applications can be developed much faster and with less complexity using the MongoDB Atlas platform.

This collaboration with the Google Cloud will help developers to use the Google Cloud’s Vertex AI large language models (LLMs) and MongoDB Atlas on Google Cloud. This infrastructure will be able to provide enough tools for the development of next generation Generative AI applications for the companies. Enterprise will also be able to use the MongoDB and Google Cloud professional services for accelerating the software development process.

MongoDB Atlas is Graph database graph databases that is suitable for running complex graph queries such as relationships between entities. This database can be used to handle large amounts of such data with high performance.

Generative AI is one of the most growing fields with the availability of new very intelligent LLMs models that developers are using to develop a new breed of applications. Development of such an application is complex and takes a lot of effort as it requires interaction with the existing technology stacks. MongoDB and Google are offering tools to address challenges of generative AI application development. Developers will be able to take advantage of these technologies for building new AI applications.

Developers will be able to use Google Cloud’s Vertex AI foundation models with MongoDB Atlas Vector Search with ease for their application development. Developers will be able to build AI-powered capabilities that will deliver highly personalised and engaging experiences to the end users. Such applications are usually very user friendly and highly productive.

New AI Initiative from MongoDB will enable developers to use MongoDB Atlas Vector Search for building next generation AI-powered personalised applications. Developers will be able to create advanced applications having features such as  semantic search, classification, outlier detection, AI-powered chatbots, and text summarization.

MongoDB is a very popular document database used by developers for a very long time. MongoDB is the king of the NoSQL database and comes with very high performance. MongoDB Atlas provides the vector search feature which is very helpful in handling such data and integrating it with the modern generative AI models.
